About
We are looking for a reliable and experienced freelance Data Entry Operator to handle accounting-related data input and editing tasks. If you have a basic understanding of accounting terms and are detail-oriented, this role could be perfect for you. In this position, you will be responsible for editing financial records, updating entries, and generating reports.
Responsibilities:
Process Accounting Entries: Accurately input and edit bank statements, invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
Data Verification: Verify financial data and ensure that all figures and details are accurate.
Generate Reports and Summaries: Create and update monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
System Integration: Use accounting software and tools (like QuickBooks, Tally, Excel) to efficiently manage data.
Data Cleansing and Quality Control: Identify and correct any errors to ensure data accuracy.
Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial information securely and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial terminology.
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, etc.) and MS Excel.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Prior experience in data entry or accounting roles is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with basic tax laws and financial regulations.
Experience in data analysis and preparing financial summaries.
Ability to efficiently handle large datasets.
